Belle de Brie apartments are located in a typical Brie house with garden and courtyard. During the renovation in 2021, the house was divided into two units. Each apartment has a separate entrance and its own terrace.
The garden with the swing and the front yard are shared between the two apartments. Belle de Brie I has 90 m2 and Belle de Brie II 60 m2. Both have their own large terrace with a south-west location – perfect for your sundowner in the evening!
Apartment Belle de Brie I – 8 guests max
Room layout Belle de Brie I
You have three closed bedrooms at your disposal. A fourth bedroom with bunk bed is open to the stairs. All bedrooms, bathrooms, as well as the toilet are located on the first floor.
Room 1:
Two single beds (90x200cm), which can be used as a double bed pushed together.
One bed has a pull-out drawer bed, ideal for children.
Bedroom 1 is large enough to put up a baby cot here.
You also have a huge cabinet wall, with plenty of space to store the clothes.
Room 2:
King size bed: 180x200cm
The room also offers enough space to accommodate a baby cot. There is plenty of storage space in the cupboards so that no suitcases stand in the way and the clothes hang well.
The room is facing west with a Velux window.
All bedroom windows can be completely darkened with a store to sleep well.
Room 3:
Bedroom 3 offers you a king-size bed: 180x200cm.
You will also find a desk with lamp here so that you can do homeoffice.
In the room you have a shower and sink.
The room is also large enough for a baby cot and is perfect as a parent suite.
Room 4:
This bedroom is open to the stairs.
Here you will find a bunk bed for children (90x200cm). The upper bed is recommended from the age of 8.
There is also plenty of space on the carpet to play on the floor.
Dream like a baby – Baby cot
The bedrooms are large enough for a baby cot to fit into each room. We can provide a baby cot from Babybjörn for children up to 2 years free of charge. Simply specify when making your reservation. Please bring your own sleeping bag for your baby.
Kid-friendly sockets and high chairs
During the renovation, all sockets have been renewed and equipped with kid-friendly versions for your little ones.
You will also find a high chair for babies and two higher chairs for children so that everyone can find their place at the table during the meals.
Maximum occupancy is 8 people.
Bed linen and towels are provided. The beds are made on arrival.

Apartment Belle de Brie II – 5 guests max
In Belle de Brie II, you can come as family with your 3 children. It can accommodate up to 5 people. Belle de Brie has a living area with corner sofa and a kitchen with dining area.
Take three steps into the sleeping area. A large 1.80x2m king-size bed await you on the ground floor. There is an open mezzanine and a double bunk bed for children at the top, with a drawer bed and a desk for remote working.

How many beds are there?
Reservations for up to 8 people are accepted at Belle de Brie I.
If you have followed the bed details well, you will find that there are more than 8 sleeping places. But since there is only one toilet per holiday apartment and we have not designed water and heating for one school class, the number has been limited.
Belle de Brie II can accommodate 5 people.
Both holiday apartments can also be rented together. However, celebrations and parties are strictly prohibited
Can we have a party?
In the Belle de Brie holiday accommodation, celebrations, parties, children’s birthday parties, loud evening parties, weddings, bachelor parties, etc. are
FORBIDDEN.
There is also a reason for this: there are two apartments in the house and we have close-to neighbours. Please respect them.
Our target group are families, grandma’s and grandpa’s with grandchildren, groups of friends with children and everyone who wants to spend a peaceful holiday away from the hustle and bustle of a big city.
In case of non-compliance, the accommodation must be vacated immediately, the deposit is automatically due and damage will be charged in addition and, if necessary, sued by justice. Sorry that such clear words have to be said here, but the experience has taught us and I hope for understanding from our favorite guests.
What do we have to bring?
The beds are made on arrival and there is a large shower towel and a normal towel per person.
Dishwashing detergent and a sponge, as well as tea towels are provided.
Shower gel and hand soap are also available.
You have to bring food and your cuddly toy yourself!
IIs the apartment accessible to disabled persons?
No. And for the simple reason that the only toilet is on the top floor in Belle de Brie I.
In Belle de Brie II you need to come down three stairs to go to the sleeping room.
How many apartments are there in the cottage?
The house was divided into two units during its renovation in 2021. Belle de Brie I has 90 m2, its own entrance and its own terrace.
The garden and the children’s playground, as well as the three parking places in the courtyard, are shared.
There is the possibility to rent both units (8 guests in the large apartment 5 guests in the small apartment). Just ask, if they are both free.
Can we invite friends to the apartment?
The number of guests in the house must correspond with the number in the reservation. 8 for Belle de Brie I and 5 for Belle de Brie II.
There is only one toilet in each apartment and we have a septic seepeage pit not designed for large companies.
The target group is families with children and not party people.
What kind of beds are there?
The beds are either 180×200 m or 90x200m in size with high quality mattresses.
Can we camp in the garden?
Unfortunately not. Belle de Brie is a holiday accommodation and not a campsite. The garden (playground) is also shared with the second apartment.
Each has its own terrace and entrance.
When can we arrive and when is departure time?
The holiday accommodation is available for you from 4 p.m.
On the day of departure, the house must be left at 10 a.m.
Can we arrive earlier or leave later?
In principle, this is possible. When booking, the option “Early Check-In” or “Late Check-Out” can be selected.
Early check in: The accommodation is ready from 11 a.m.
Late check out: Latest check-out is at 5 p.m latest.
If you want to check in earlier or check out later after confirmed booking, please contact us.
We would be happy to add this option(s) to your stay if the calendar makes it possible.
Is there a separation of waste?
Yes there is! And we are happy if our guests also participate in the separation and recycling.
There are two garbage cans available in the front yard:
Gray bin = residual waste
Yellow bin = paper, plastic, cans
The two green bins are used by the gardener for garden waste.
Please dispose of bottles in the container behind the town hall (rue des Jardins).
Why is only normal toilet paper allowed into the toilet?
You stay in a very small village. There is a lot of nature and forests here, but no sewage treatment plant.
Each house has a microfilter station in which the wastewater seeps through different layers of earth and sand before it returns to circulation.
In the in-house filter station, bacteria take over the task of decomposition.
Therefore, please do not throw damp toilet towels, pads, tampons, condoms, diapers, kitchen crepe or handkerchiefs into the toilet.
Thank you very much for your help, the happy bacteria will also be thankful!
What do we have to do on departure?
Please remove the bed linen and leave the it together with used towels in the respective room.
The waste must be thrown into the garbage cans (see recyling) Don’t forget the bathrooms and the toilet.
Doors and windows, as well as the wooden shops will be closed.
Please let us know by text message what time you are leaving (+33612067181). If we cannot say goodbye in person, we will let you know where to deposit the keys.
Which kind of coffee machine is there?
Belle de Brie I:
We provide you with two different coffee machines:
1. Nespresso machine. Please remember to bring capsules
2. Filter coffee machine
In Belle de Brie II you find only a filter coffe machine.
Where to park our car?
You can park one car per apartment in the closed yard. There are two parking spaces on the street and many more in the parking lot in front of the town hall (about 50 m away).
